Bringing existing buildings up to modern standards, without losing what makes them work.

Most of our renovation and refurbishment work is on buildings that are still in use, or buildings that need to come back into use quickly once we’ve finished. That shapes how we plan, phase and deliver every project.

We handle internal upgrades and reconfiguration, full floor or building refurbishments, and the careful modernisation of older properties. Where a building has character worth keeping, period detail, listed elements, a particular architectural quality, we plan the work to protect it. Where it doesn’t, we focus on bringing the space up to current standards as efficiently as possible.

We work across Scotland and the North of England with property owners, housing associations, care home operators and student accommodation providers on refurbishment projects of every scale.

Industry specific expertise

What we bring to a refurbishment project

A single Project Manager, start to finish

One point of contact runs the scheme from planning through to handover, so nothing gets lost between trades or stages.

Live environment delivery

Most refurbishment work happens in buildings that are occupied or need to reopen fast. We plan around that reality, not around what would be easiest for us.

Phased programmes that protect operations

Work is sequenced to keep disruption to a minimum, whether that’s a care home corridor, a student block over the summer, or a commercial floor that needs to stay partly operational.

Internal upgrades and reconfiguration

From single-room refits to full floor refurbishments, we reconfigure layouts and update finishes without the scale or complexity of a full conversion project.

Character and compliance, handled properly

Where a building has heritage value or listed status, we work within the right constraints. Where it needs full modernisation, we bring it up to current standards without unnecessary delay.

Reactive and planned maintenance

For portfolio clients, we deliver ongoing improvement works as well as one-off projects, with the same standard of management either way.

Credentials you can check

360 Degree Construction holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, covering quality management, environmental management and occupational health and safety respectively. We are currently working towards Construction online Gold accreditation.

We hold the accreditations and insurances expected of a commercial contractor working in regulated, occupied environments, and we’re happy to share documentation on request.
