The Project
360 Degree Construction was appointed as the main contractor for the extensive conversion and refurbishment of a former care facility in Inverness to create 18 high-quality residential apartments.
The project involves a comprehensive programme of structural alterations, internal refurbishment, mechanical and electrical installations and finishing works, with 360 Degree Construction responsible for coordinating the project from initial strip-out through to completion.
Scope of Works
The works include:
- Full site setup and project management
- Strip-out and enabling works
- Structural alterations
- New internal partitions and ceilings
- Fire compartmentation and passive fire protection
- Floor construction and levelling
- Mechanical and electrical installations
- Plumbing and sprinkler installations
- New and altered windows and doors
- Kitchen installations
- Bathroom and shower-room installations
- Joinery and second-fix works
- Flooring and decoration
- Coordination of specialist subcontractors
- Testing, commissioning and final handover
Project Delivery
The development is being delivered in three phases, allowing trades and specialist contractors to progress systematically through the 18 apartments.
As main contractor, 360 Degree Construction manages the construction programme, subcontractors, health and safety, quality control, procurement and coordination between the client, design team and specialist trades.
The project demonstrates our ability to manage complex refurbishment and conversion projects involving multiple trades, design coordination and demanding construction programmes.
